This position protects operational reliability, financial accuracy, and event execution excellence at Nashville Superspeedway. This teammate ensures that the systems supporting payroll, purchasing, work orders, and event readiness function consistently and accurately — especially during high-volume event cycles.

This position converts operational activity into structured, accountable, and financially controlled execution so that leadership can focus on strategy, development, and continuous improvement rather than administrative follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

This teammate is responsible for the following accountability areas. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Payroll Accuracy and Workforce Reliability

Ensure all Operations payroll processes are accurate, timely, and compliant, creating trust and financial stability for teammates and leadership.

2. Work Order Integrity and Facility Readiness

Own the integrity and effectiveness of the 24/7 work order and preventive maintenance system to ensure facilities are event-ready and operational risks are minimized.

3. Purchase Order Discipline and Budget Visibility

Maintain disciplined purchase order tracking and expense coordination to protect departmental budget accuracy and financial transparency.

4. Event Operations Coordination and Execution Support

Provide structured administrative and operational coordination that ensures seamless setup, execution, and breakdown of all major events including NASCAR, INDYCAR, Triple Crown of Rodding, C-10 Nationals, drifting, and corporate events.

Strengthen operational systems, documentation, and communication processes so leadership can focus on strategy, development, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Experience (Required)Experience working in structured tracking systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Event experience on the operational side. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Experience (Preferred)Experience processing payroll or supporting payroll administration. Experience entering and tracking purchase orders or managing budget documentation. Background in motorsports, live entertainment, or venue operations. Experience in facilities or maintenance environments.
Certifications / LicensesForklift, man lift, tractor, or equipment certifications preferred (can be obtained after hire).
Tools / SystemsMicrosoft Office, cloud-based payroll and purchasing systems, Adobe Acrobat, radio communications.
Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Ability to work indoors and outdoors during events, including extreme weather conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
