Why This Position Exists
This position owns the efficient execution of bottling line packout, component preparation, and warehouse operations for Oil-Chem Research Corp. / zMAX. The teammate in this role directly supports production throughput and order fulfillment accuracy, serving the production team, warehouse teammates, and ultimately the customers who depend on timely, accurate product delivery.
Without this position, production runs slow down, inventory accuracy deteriorates, and shipping errors increase. This role ensures that the bottling line runs on schedule, materials are staged and ready, inbound and outbound shipments are handled correctly, and the facility maintains the safety and organizational standards the team depends on.
Key Responsibilities
This teammate is responsible for the following accountability areas. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Bottling Line Packout Execution
Owns the accurate and efficient packout of finished products during production runs, ensuring each run meets daily targets with zero-defect packaging standards.
Meets or exceeds daily production packout targets as established by the line lead
Maintains zero-defect packaging standards with no quality rejections attributable to packout errors
Minimizes unplanned downtime during production runs through proactive issue identification
In this area, this position:
Decides Packout sequence and pacing adjustments within the production run to maintain throughput
Decides When to flag a quality concern and pull product from the line for inspection
Escalates Equipment malfunctions, extended downtime, or quality issues requiring line stoppage
2. Component Preparation & Line Readiness
Prepares all materials and components required for production runs, ensuring the line is staged and ready before each run begins to minimize setup delays and support smooth transitions between products.
Components are staged accurately and completely before each production run
Line setup delays attributed to component readiness are reduced quarter over quarter
Transitions between product runs are executed without unplanned stoppages
In this area, this position:
Decides Staging order and timing for component preparation based on the production schedule
Decides Whether components meet quality standards before staging on the line
Escalates Component shortages or supplier quality issues that may delay a scheduled run
3. Warehouse Receiving & Shipping Support
Assists with inbound receiving and outbound shipment processing, ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, verified, and shipped to maintain fulfillment timelines.
Inbound materials are received, inspected, and stored accurately with no unresolved discrepancies
Outbound orders are verified and processed on time with shipping error rate below established threshold
Receiving and shipping documentation is completed accurately and filed same day
In this area, this position:
Decides Acceptance or rejection of inbound shipments based on visual inspection and packing slip verification
Decides Storage location and organization of received materials within warehouse layout standards
Escalates Damaged shipments, significant quantity discrepancies, or orders that cannot ship by deadline
4. Inventory Accuracy & Control
Maintains accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, physical inventory participation, and timely system updates, ensuring stock levels reflect reality.
Inventory accuracy rate meets or exceeds established target (e.g., 98%+)
Cycle counts and physical inventory counts are completed on schedule with no missed deadlines
Discrepancies are identified and reported to the team leader within 24 hours of discovery
In this area, this position:
Decides Count methodology and sequencing for assigned cycle count areas
Decides When a discrepancy requires immediate recount versus documentation for review
Escalates Systemic inventory variances, suspected loss or theft, or discrepancies exceeding defined thresholds
5. Facility Organization & Safety
Maintains a clean, safe, and organized production and warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and contributing to a workspace that supports efficient operations.
Full compliance with workplace safety standards with zero preventable safety incidents
Storage areas are organized and labeled according to facility standards at end of each shift
Hazards and maintenance needs are identified and reported same day
In this area, this position:
Decides Daily cleaning priorities and organization tasks based on production schedule and facility condition
Decides Whether a workspace condition requires immediate corrective action before work continues
Escalates Safety hazards requiring facility maintenance, equipment repair, or policy-level decisions

Requirements
