Why This Position Exists
This position provides dedicated social media content support during Sonoma Raceway’s peak motorsports season. This teammate captures high-quality photo and video content, supports day-to-day social media publishing, and owns the TikTok and Sonoma Drags channels. The position ensures Sonoma Raceway can scale its digital presence strategically during high-demand periods while maintaining the quality, consistency, and brand voice fans expect.
Without this position, the marketing team lacks the capacity to capture and amplify high-value moments in real time during race weekends. Limited real-time coverage reduces overall reach, weakens event visibility, and diminishes the digital value delivered to corporate clients and fans. This position addresses a clear capacity gap and directly supports stronger performance across engagement, audience growth, and overall marketing impact.
